GECAC’s Career Pathway maps the journey through Career Exploration, Labor Market Information and Stackable Certifications to employment in High Priority Occupations. With Industry Partnership coordination, job-ready adults are placed in jobs with Career Ladders leading to self-sufficiency. This workshop identifies replicable partnerships and processes to move clients out of poverty.


A4: Mobilizing Your agency for political action (WD)
Dave Coplan, Executive Director, Human Services Center Corporation

The workshop will provide specific strategies to advocate with elected officials at all levels and is based on the best practices unique to nonprofits. It will focus on building the political capital of your constituents, gathering information, effective communication, building relationships, and the tools to evaluate your political efforts.
