CAAP 2006 Annual Conference

Doug Besharov -- 'People, Ideas, Communities: Reducing poverty locally' -- Facing the realities of poverty in America is a complicated and wide-reaching social issue. In this video, Doug Besharov explores the concepts and debate revolving around the reduction of welfare dependancy over the past ten years. Mr. Besharov is the director of the Social and individual Responsibilty Project of the American Enterprise Institute. He spoke at CAAP's 2006 Annual Conference on October 25, 2006.
