Welcome to the official website for Focus on the Future, the 2008 Annual Conference of the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania. The Board of Directors, Conference Committee and staff of CAAP are proud to bring you two and a half days of learning, sharing and growing.

Bettering our communities, having a positive impact on the lives of the low-income families and setting a framework for future success - is what makes Community Action special. Community Action is about serving the needs of today while addressing the problems of tomorrow. For over 40 years, Community Action Agencies have been progressively working to develop a better future for those striving to reach self-sufficiency.

The Focus on the Future conference will offer nine plenary sessions and one keynote general session. Four educational tracks, providing 25 focused workshops, will also be offered. We strive to bring you quality learning opportunities that will help you pursue the goals of your work. We have put together an agenda that will provide stimulating and timely information as well as the opportunity to interact with your peers.

Do not miss our 12th Annual Self-Sufficiency Awards. This premiere event honors the accomplishments of the individuals that are served by our member Community Action Agencies.
