Welcome to the official website for Growing Great Communities, the 2007 Annual Conference of the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania. The Board of Directors, Conference Committee and staff of CAAP are proud to bring you two and a half days of learning, sharing and growing.

Great Communities do not just happen, they are cultivated by the citizens, government and businesses that live and operate within their borders. For over 40 years, Community Action Agencies have been tending to the needs of their communities, carefully providing the necessary elements to help it's people live healthy and fertile lives.

The Growing Great Communities conference will offer six plenary and one keynote general session. Five educational tracks, providing 30 focused workshops, will also be offered. We strive to bring you quality learning opportunities that will help you pursue the goals of your work. We have put together an agenda that will provide stimulating and timely information as well as the opportunity to interact with your peers. Do not miss our 11th Annual Self-Sufficiency Awards. This premiere event honors the accomplishments of the individuals that are served by our member Community Action Agencies.

New for this year we will be holding a Poverty Simulation on the last day of the conference. This event provides insight into the experiences and roadblocks faced by those living in poverty.
