Send your story to CAAP Today
The Community Action Partnership (CAP) is collecting stories about how the loss of Community Action will affect your local community. The stories will be compiled in the upcoming issue of The Promise, CAP's magazine.
Part of the framework strategy to show the impact that Community Action has on local communities, the stories should focus on direct impact to individuals and families, the network of services within your community supported by Community Action and be full of facts and figures. The stories should not be anecdotal.
To provide some assistance with crafting your story, and future communications, use the National Association for State Community Service Programs "storytelling manual". (Click here to download)
