A warm welcome to Terry Roller and Jeffery Vaughn, who both recently have joined the ranks of Community Action exec.
In Lycoming and Clinton counties, Terry Roller takes the helm as president & CEO at STEP Inc., succeeding the retired Janet Alling. Terry has worked for STEP for 30 years. He started out as a youth program case manager right out of college and has filled many other roles on his way to the CEO's office.
Terry says that he wants STEP to be "the consummate community team player. We will continue to develop and implement resources that enable people and communities to improve their quality of life. Our product is human and community success. It's that simple".
Over in Cambria County, Jeffery Vaughn has been named the new executive director of the Community Action Partnership of Cambria County. Jeffery assumes the reigns from the retired Debra Zimmerman. Jeffery comes to the position from the Mifflin-Juniata Regional Services Corporation (the local Area Agency on Aging) where he served as the Executive Director. Prior positions include administrator of the Altoona Branch of the Bair Foundation, a faith-based organization for children, youth and families. He then was State Director for the same organization. He also served as Executive Director for Family Services of Blair County and has held various counseling positions.
Welcome Terry and Jeffery.
