We will be presented with some philosophical underpinnings and opportunities to learn new skills and approaches to helping us find out more about what matters in our network (families, agencies, communities).

Howard Mason, New Possibilities Associates will provide information and materials from the Berkana Institute.

Using the new exercises in 4.2

Version 4.2 of the Introduction to ROMA Curriculum is arranged around the ROMA Cycle.  There are two new activities in Module 3 (Planning), and the Carter Questions now introduce the concept of “targets” in module 4 and assist in setting up the “math” in Module 6.  This session will provide a brief look at the two new group exercises in Module 3.

Revealing Organizational Culture

By describing and understanding organizational culture, ROMA Trainers may be  better able to fulfill the role of helping organizations perform better.  In this overview of the concepts identified in an upcoming book on the topic, we will learn about the choices that organizations make so we are more likely to guide choices that include a “results orientation” to the work we do.
